Jim was in Berlin shortly after the wall came down. Wielding a small pickaxe, he tried to claim a piece of the historic wall for himself, but found the concrete harder than he had expected. Instead, he purchased a piece from one of the many locals who were chipping up the wall and selling it to tourists, and took these photos of the opportunistic dismantlers in action.
